Just in case you aren't familiar with the conventions of moving in video games, please note that you can use the arrow keys to move around.
However, it is often easier to use these keys, with your left hand, leaving your right hand free to press the right mouse button (RMB) so you can look round you:
w - move forward
a - move left
d - move right
s - move back
Spacebar - jump
Press and hold RMB and move the mouse to look around you and to orient you in the direction you wish to travel.
In Release 1 you may increase your speed by pressing the "Ride" and "Drive" buttons.
